Mega Yachts

When one hears the term "mega yacht" the Epyc Pacific Provider also known as the mothership of all motherships comes to mind. Released into the water in 1978, the 454 ton, 147 foot supply vessel by the name of State Hawk set sail all around the Caribbean. She sailed for a decade, delivering Calcium Chloride to U.S. Oil Platforms. The State Hawk was later sold and refitted to carry crab. This now 150 ft crab boat fished on both the Russian and United States side of the well-known sea of Bearing until it was retired in 2004.

Renamed the Shelikov, she was bought by owners to be a research vessel but was later retired once again because the new owners had bigger plans. By the time the year 2007 came around, the Shelikov was then sold to the Eastern Pacific Yacht Club and it was from there that her fame began.

Now renamed, The Epyc Pacific Provider, it is one of the world’s most famous club membership vessels. Located off the shores of San Diego, the vessel migrates to Panama year round. Membership to this luxurious vessel is limited and is similar to land vacation time-shares for the mega rich sport fishermen. This luxurious water hotel sports a helicopter landing pad, 2 35-foot sport game fishing boats and docking areas for smaller yachts. Accommodations on board are for up to 12 people with 6 luxurious suits. She also has an overflow accommodation area for up to 8 other guests.

Onboard can be found a world-renowned dining room serviced by a world-class chef. A well stocked bar and wine cellar with over 600 of some of the worlds best wines are in stock; a relaxing Jacuzzi and a fully equipped exercise room are also onboard for your enjoyment. It is truly the sports fisherman's dream mega yacht. If you happen to own your own smaller yacht, you will be able to pull into the docking area to refill your tank for the next day's fishing excursion. If you want to venture out on your own for a few days, you will be able to stock up on food and supplies and have your vessel checked for any needed repairs before setting out onto the open seas. Use of the 2-35ft gaming boats is also available for members who do not have their own yachts.

The mother of all motherships for game memberships and the brain child of the founders of East Pacific Yacht Club, Tom Ellsworth and Capt. Rich Austin, the Epyc Pacific Provider is able to provide 28-days per year of reservations for its members. Membership is limited to 50 members. The best staff possible is at your service and they are outstanding in the treatment of guests. This vessel truly is the world’s highest-class game membership vessel in existence.  Sport fishermen the world over love this sport fisherman’s paradise.
